Shane Odell

Shane has been in the construction industry his whole life.  Before graduating from UC Berkeley School of Architecture in 2006, he worked as a carpenter framing custom houses in Sacramento.  Since graduation Shane has worked on residential architecture projects throughout the Bay Area.  He has a strong knowledge of how a building is put together and is deeply connected to the creative process. Shane lives in Petaluma with his wife and two children.



Joseph Sandy

Joseph Sandy

A passion for building and design led Joseph to the University of California at Berkeley College of Environmental Design, where he graduated with a BA in Architecture in 2004. After completing his degree, Joseph worked for Home Yen + Architects / First Pacific Homes, an Architect & Developer in Southern California. In 2012 Joseph received his Master of Architecture from University of Southern California. Since graduation he has worked for firms Ro Rockett Design and Faulkner Architects who both specialize in high-end modern residences. Joseph’s interest in small buildings lead him to enter and win several competitions including the $300 house challenge, having his work published in the book Ultra-Low Tech Architecture, magazine Giornale dell’Architettura, newspaper El Mundo, and websites remodelista.com, plataformaarquitectura.cl, designigniteschange.org, and design-milk.com.



Betty Li

Betty Li

Betty grew up in the East Bay and received her Architecture degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She worked for a number of years at Joinery Structures in Oakland, which specializes in Japanese joinery construction, and McEwen Lighting Studio, where she helped fabricate custom light fixtures. Since moving to Petaluma in 2004 where she raises her two children, she continues to enjoy working with the small details of architecture, with a focus on residential design and interiors.



Austine Warren

Austine Warren

Austine holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley and is a licensed architect.  Austine has many years of experience working with her own firm in architecture and construction.  She is skilled in new home design as well as remodeling, and is particularly proud of the work she and her husband did renovating their second home up at Sea Ranch.  Austine has worked on numerous projects with Mahoney Architects, most recently as the lead architect for a spectacular new farmhouse to be built in West Petaluma.
